Music to put a spring in your step...

It can be hard to find time to search for new songs and put together a playlist, so here are some websites where you can simply download existing playlists or pick out songs to quickly create your own.

The first two websites feature playlists created by athletes. The latter two websites share songs that include the number of beats per minute (bpm) for each song. This way you can create playlists based on tempo and rhythm.

Here is a sample fitness playlist that Tracy Lockwood from Ever Active Schools, Alberta, uses in her workshops to get teachers grooving to fun fitness circuits.

Fitness Circuit Music
  • Hey Baby (Uhh, Ahh) - DJ Otzi
  • Numba 1 (Tide Is High) - Kardinal Offishall, featuring Keri Hilson
  • Blitzkrieg Bop - The Ramones
  • Let's Get It Started - The Black Eyed Peas
  • On the Dancefloor - David Guetta
  • Evacuate the Dancefloor - Cascada
  • Vogue - Madonna
  • U Can't Touch This - MC Hammer
  • Get It To Go - My Big Surprise
  • The Anthem - Good Charlotte
  • Party in the USA - Miley Cyrus
  • S.O.S. - Jonas Brothers
Be sure to use radio-edited version of the songs you select.
