Another Teacher, Inspired!

The Toronto Star posted a great article yesterday about James S. Bell public school in Etobicoke where the principle, John Currie, was so inspired by the CBC National story, Brain Gain, which showcased teacher Allison Cameron, who implemented the use of treadmills in her classroom for her behavioral students, he set up four stationary bikes and four treadmills in his school's behavioral classroom.

Every morning before class starts, the students work-out for 20 minutes before settling into their desks. They students are allowed to make use of the equipment at any time throughout the day.
The initiative seems to be working. Both students and teachers at James S. Bell public school have reported fewer behavioral problems since the principal implemented the exercise program.
